In an
effort to increase the security and confidentiality of your Username and
Password, Solutions2000 have undertaken to implement some new measures. These
measures are as follows: 1.
Multiple
logins: Previously when solutions2000 activated a
client by default they were allowed two (2) simultaneous connections. This
meant that two (2) people could have accessed our system using the
same Username and Password at the same time. This will now be changed to 1
user login per customer. Our technicians have been strictly forbidden from receiving customer's password and have been instructed to 1) Inform the webmaster 2) Request the customer to immediately change his/her password if/whenever a customer voluntarily or involuntarily reveals his/her password. On the clients side however, Solutions2000 has no control over the security of the Username and Password. As long as another person other than the holder of the account knows the password whether it be your child, wife, employee or friend it is still a security breach. Solutions2000 cannot be held liable for cost incurred if someone knows your Username and Password. Solutions2000 recommends that if you suspect that your User details have been breached you should contact us immediately to have your password changed.5. Your system is not working: In the event that your computer is not working for any reason then it is recommended that you have your account temporarily suspended. As long as a computer has Internet access (e.g. a friends system) then your Username and Password can be used to login into our Internet service. This would mean that even though your system is not working at home or at work then you or someone else using your login details on another system can gain internet access for which charges will be incurred and hence you will be billed for this usage. Also even if your system at work or home is functional but you do not wish to utilize our Internet services for a period of time, it is recommended that you request to have the account temporarily suspended. Since your contract with us has from 0 to 30 hours and above then even if you did not use the service you would have incurred 0 hours usage hence you will be billed. |
